
Jo Cope is the CEO and Managing Director of Providior, where she leads the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the business. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, legal funding, and business management, Jo brings a deep understanding of the professional services sector and the capital solutions that support its growth. Since stepping into the CEO role in 2022, she has overseen Providior’s continued expansion as a trusted provider of specialist funding to law firms and other professional service providers.
Prior to her current role, Jo served as Executive Manager at Providior, where she played a key role in operational leadership and client engagement. Her earlier career includes senior leadership positions at DS Outlays Funding and Splatt Lawyers, where she was instrumental in developing funding models tailored to the needs of personal injury law firms. Her experience spans capital raising, risk management, and strategic planning—skills that are central to Providior’s mission of delivering fit-for-purpose financial solutions.
Jo’s career also includes founding and managing her own consultancy and portfolio administration businesses, where she advised on corporate governance, finance, and change management. Her early career included roles at ANZ and Bank of Queensland, giving her a strong foundation in banking operations and lending. This breadth of experience enables Jo to navigate complex regulatory and commercial environments with confidence and clarity.
Jo holds dual degrees in Commerce and Economics from The University of Queensland, and a Graduate Certificate in Management from QUT. Her leadership style is collaborative and outcomes-focused, and she is committed to building a culture of integrity, innovation, and client service at Providior.
