With 25 years’ experience in operations and project management, Laurence has a critical understanding of strategic planning, supply chain management and business systems management. His experience spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction and professional services. Laurence was a pivotal member of the business transformation team tasked with re-engineering procurement and supply chain strategy for a leading Australian law firm.
Laurence brings a problem-solving approach to his role as General Manager. He applies his knowledge and experience to fully understand the business practices, workflows and needs of our clients. He is committed to tailoring solutions that meet individual situations and working with clients to achieve the growth they aspire to.
He is pivotal in managing Providior’s clients, growth and direction. Laurence espouses our philosophy of being pragmatic, flexible and keen to do business.
He holds a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University and a Diploma of Export Management from the Australian Institute of Export.
Luke had more than two decades’ experience as a marketing and communications specialist before co-founding Providior. During this time he worked with multiple clients across a range of industries, including multinational engineering firms, small family businesses, not for profits, and state and local governments.
His extensive knowledge gives him an excellent appreciation for the challenges faced by business owners and managers to improve cash flow and profitability at all stages of the business cycle.
He is an effective communicator who can analyse complex problems and quickly identify the right funding strategies that will fit in with the broader business direction. He takes a collaborative approach to ensure his clients’ needs are understood, valuing long-term relationships over short-term transactions.
Luke works very closely with Providior’s cohort of practice directors, financial controllers and office managers, making sure Providior’s solutions are fit-for-purpose and adding value.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Queensland.
Jo Cope is a highly skilled operator with more than two decades’ experience in banking and finance. Her portfolio of work at Providior includes product development, business strategy and business development.
A career with ANZ and Bank of Queensland has provided knowledge and expertise across loan products, industry requirements and client management. An experienced strategic advisor, general manager, and administrator, Jo’s most recent roles at DS Outlays Funding and Splatt Lawyers have given her a wealth of knowledge in disbursement funding and practice management.
With a deep understanding of the financial imperatives faced by professional service firms, she knows how the right funding solutions can positively impact cash flow, profitability and growth.
Jo holds Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Certificate in Management from Queensland University of Technology.
