Providior Student Grant Overview

Background: The Providior Scholarship was established in 2020 to encourage and support students who are passionate about pursuing a career in legal funding, with an emphasis on new product and new market development.

Open to: Australian citizens and permanent residents in their penultimate or final year of studying law, business or finance in an Australian accredited University. Dual Degree students are encouraged to apply.

Value: $2,000 AUD

1. Background

The Providior Scholarship was established to encourage and support Australian students who excel in business, finance or law and are passionate about pursuing a career in legal funding, with an emphasis on new product and new market development.

2. Eligibility

Applicants must have Australian citizenship or Australian permanent residency and enrolled in their final year in a Graduate Certificate, Bachelors or Masters in Business Administration or related law, business or finance qualification in Australia.

Current Providior employees are not eligible.

3. Selection Criteria

The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit – especially in business, finance and law-related subjects – their resume, research proposal, covering letter and possibly an interview with Providior’s Leadership Group.

A Practical Training placement with Providior may be offered to the successful nominee.

4. Value

The Scholarship is valued at $2,000 as a one-off payment which is payable upon the selection of the successful nominee.
